This isnt a contradiction but I do think it shows that Pacquiao and his team are very overrated. The video shows an interview with Roach prior to the Marquez-Pacquiao rematch. As everyone knows Team Pacquiao and all of the Pacquiao fans make excuses for the first fight with Marquez. Roach claims Pacquiao "was a one handed fighter back then" and that he is "so much better now" with a new weapon called the "Manila Ice" (A right hook). Roach said that Manny would do alot better in the rematch because of how much he had improved since the first fight.

Nothing changed at all. Pacquiao was once again outboxed by Marquez just like he was 4 years prior. Despite scoring a knockdown he was outboxed and just beaten up by Marquez. And was extremely fortunate to escape with a split decision win when he could easily have lost a unanimous decision. I don't see much improvement in Pacquiao in terms of his skill. As far as I can tell the only thing that has improved with Team Pacquiao is their match-making ability.
