I'm usually okay with it. It generally gets someone who deserves a belt the hardware.

The worst vacant title fight I can think of was Cristobal Cruz vs. Orlando Salido... over 20 losses from those two combined coming into that fight.

Margarito doesn't deserve 1 percent of a chance to pulling off an upset against Pacquiao to get a belt. Margarito should not be in the run for fighting for a vacant belt in my opinion.

Belts are a joke anyways so I couldn't care less if they are vacated. The only ones I remotely pay attention to are the Ring Magazine ones...

Belts in general are garbage. But I much prefer vacancies being cleared up in the ring than the #1 contender and/or interim champion simply gets handed the belt and declared "champion." And anyway, all belts are only as important as the fighters who have them.

While i do follow the belts, i take the Ring belt the most serious as it is the best and is almost always with the true champion.

I think there should only be 1 belt and i see the lineal titlist as the real world champ.

Shouldn't matter to anyone.

What should matter is what the belt holder does when he has it. EX. Who he defends it from and beats...IDK why people gave Cotto so much **** about it. He defended it againest the best so he deserved and did what a champion should do when you get it.
