I know its insane. His resume speaks for itself, yes he has lost twice but the guys he lost to are far from bums.

This fight depends solely on Manny Steward teaching Miguel how to Clinch and slow fighters down. You could see in the Margarito fight he had no idea to keep Tony from coming and Margarito eventually broke him down.

I know for a fact if this fight went down, Kirkland will be coming forward non stop all night long, even taking shots to get to Cotto. The big quesiton, and what will ultimately decide the winner is Cotto's ability to slow him down. I don't see anything in Cotto's games that suggest he can as of right now, so if Kirkland was in shape and back to form....I would have to go with Kirkland via late TKO stoppage.

i think cotto would beat him, unsure if by ko or decision, but beat nontheless, maybe by ko, it is true that kirkland is a pressure fighter and everyone knows what happened in the margarito fight, but margarito took heavy firepower from cotto and still came forward, i fail to believe kirkland has as good a chin as margarito does (or used to have anyway)
