Look what his punches did to Cotto. The punches cotto saw and didnt see made no difference hardly. Look at Pac on the heavy baga and focus pads. Listen to freddie Roach who takes his shots. Listen to Cotto. Look at Pacs resume. Its all there.
is there anyone that pac ko'd that you think mosley wouldnt?

Southpaw stance makes for weird angles, which makes for "sucker" punches.
Mosley had straight up punching power.

Ask a boxer which ones "hurt" more, and they'll tell u it's the ones you don't see.

One second you're throwing out a jab or 1-2 combo, next second you're listening to the ref couting "...6...7....8"...*ding ding ding*

Pacquiao did catch him with better shots, but overall Shane is the better one punch knockout artist. Of course the shots you don't see coming are the ones that hurt the most though, which is an advantage Pacquiao has, unless he's fighting a guy who can see punches coming (which is why the fight with Floyd is so interesting).

Guys like Cotto, Clottey, Diaz, etc. have mentioned multiple times that Pacquiao isn't a huge puncher, but his speed is what gave them so much trouble and allowed him to hurt them more. The only guy at WW whose one punch knockout power compared to Mosley's was Judah's and probably Cintron's.

exactly. Mosley has more raw power but Pac hits you a lot more so it doesn't matter. Same as Wladimir has more 1 punch power but Vitali in his prime throws ten times more punches and hits you far more often and therefore has a higher KTFO percentage

Yes, and how many ko's does Pac have? Look at Pacs last 10 fights or so. Lets start with JMM to now. He knocked down JMM 3 times with one punch each time.
Stoped diaz, Hatton, DLH, Cotto couldnt take the power and of course speed. Pac hits harder now. I dont know care about pac in his earlier career. But i know what i see in his last 5 fights.

Well Cotto for starters. And DLH was just about to get knocked out even though it was accumatively.

the reason i said same version is that many people feel the version of cotto that faught shane and faught manny were not the same. and it was not the same weight.

many people feel the version of oscar that faught manny was not the same that faught shane.

                  Who cares really?

Punching power doesn't mean anything if you can't win with it.

Shiiiiet. If Prime ('97-'00) DLH fought Manny (147 version)....it would've been a spectacle for the ages. The DLH that fought Shane almost beat a roided up power puncher TWICE.
