Bojado had already lost to Juan Carlos Rubio before he lost to Leija.

Bojado was NOT overrated he had a ton of talent, his problem wasn't talent it was being lazy plain and simple.

He did lose to rubio, cause he was too busy headhunting. How can you mention that and NOT mention how in the rematch he so completely dominated rubio and won?? He was sharp as hell and on fire that night Jose..you have to mention that if you bring the other up

You got very good current boxing knowledge, I was gonna answer this question , i really like Francisco Bojado ,him being from East L.A and all but he was overated

He didn't lose to Rubio because he was headhunting he lost because he was out of shape and fought just like a sloppy out of shape fighter would. He faded very badly down the strecth of that fight.

He won the rematch because Rubio is a no talent bum. He should have never lost in the first place.

I see the first Rubio fight as where his downfall began. I thought Bojado was going to be a very good fighter but he was overrated by the ones saying he would be a champion in two years. He has a ton of talent but is lazy as hell.

I like bojado. i would like to see him come back and do well but he probably wont be willing to fight like hed have to for a while, smokers against bums in off tv bouts. mcgirt was no good for him because mcgirt was training about 100 other guys at the time so theres no way he gave the attention someone new like bojado needs.
