i would say that is only the government and a small percentage of the population that think that way most of the people are desperate to get out of thereOne thing I hear about defectors making it big outside (like Gamboa) they're considered as "traitors" in Cuba, which is sad.
The government still has full control on what the Cubans think and react, but time will tell how these guys, if they do great with their careers, will be exalted by their efforts to make it big by following what their instincts are.Comment

the average citizen does not have permission to leave for anywhere, however certain people that have some kind of affiliation with the governemet do leave the country to visit other like doctors, athletes, musicians, governemt employees

I AGREE 100%
I always been a fan of most Cuban fighters because they are all usually VERY SKILLED the is why they dominate Amateurs and the Olympics
Yuriorkis Gamboa is already known but I see Rigondeaux taking over that super bantamweight division very soon, Lara will start to make a splash in the Light Middleweight division very soon and Yordenis Ugas is only 24 but he will start to make a splash in the Welterweight Division also, all are very SKILLED BOXERS
can't forget Yordanis Despaigne, he beat Dirrell in Amateurs
Odlanier Solis has talent and skills but seems to lack motivation, if he can get in shape he could be a threat to Heavyweights like Adamek and Haye IMO but he has to get his weight under control
their problem will be that guys will duck and dodge the hell out of them as long as they can
I seriously doubt anybody at 154 will be rushing to fight Lara anytime soon
