  • Comments Thread For: Michael Grant: Adamek Was Gone, I Couldn't Finish Him

Heavyweight Tomasz Adamek (42-1, 27 KOs) was able to outbox Michael Grant (46-4, 34 KOs) for the majority of their twelve round fight on Saturday at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. During the twelfth and final round, Grant was able to badly hurt Adamek. He couldn't finish him off as the time ran out on the clock. Adamek used his survival skills to work down the clock until the final bell. [Click Here To Read More]

Yes it was a good fight.....Adamek was stunned 2-3 times.

In the 6th, Grant landed a good right and wobbled adamek and had him off balance

Then in the 12 he went right after him and i think he hurt him, but Adamek used his good defensive skills to survive

missed the fight but it sounds like grant has something left in the tank despite the loss.

Yes. Grant was focused and in excellent shape, and his current trainer Mustafa is much better than that nutcase Teddy.

I wouldn't mind seeing him in against some heavyweights like Arreola, Thompson, Tua, etc.

Exactly. I was surprised he came in to actually win and not just accept the paycheck. A slower heavyweight would get really hurt by Grant because he's still packing serious power.

                  Great fight.
