Adamek Struggled With Michael Grant.....Oh No

Tonight Thomaz Adamek beat a 38 year old Michael Grant, in a tough hard fought 12 round fight, in which Adamek was cut and hurt in the fight.

Lennox Lewis destroyed a prime Grant 10 years ago & Domick Guinn stopped him 7 years ago, much better than Adamek did.

Grant was never nothing specail in his prime, but for Adamek to be hurt and cut by him when's slow old and washed up, is worrying.

Wlad & Viatli would destroy him. He shoulnd't be at HW......

The problem is, Adamek didn't bring his power up to HW.

He's a very good fighter, but not a natural heavyweight. Unlike Haye, he had no problem making 200.

Grant had a 10" reach advantage, and was 6" taller and 44 pounds heavier.

How many clean punches do you recall Grant landing? And tired? Come on man...

It was a hell of a lot tougher fight than Adamek's people thought it would be. Even though he deservedly won, his reputation as a heavyweight took a hit. So yeah, he struggled.

Except for those two shots that stunned him, how many other clean shots did you see land on him?

Adamek boxed beautifully throughout, countering Grant's jab by moving away and then bouncing back with a snappy jab, using the ring, throwing 2-3 punch combos consistently. Unfortunately only the bad things get put under the microscope.

Struggled? He was stunned a few times but struggled? NO

Besides the punches that stunned him, how many clean punches did grant land?

And stamina problems? Cmon did you watch the fight or did some Adamek hater tell you that?

We saw a different fight. Adamek got nicked up pretty good by a guy who is over 10 years past his prime and hand picked for him.
