Comments Thread For: Tavoris Could May Fight Again in The Fall, Says King

IBF light heavyweight champion Tavoris Cloud (21-0, 18KOs) may return in the fall, says his promoter Don King. Cloud fought on August 7 in St. Louis, winning a close twelve round decision over Glen Johnson. If King is unable to land a televised date on HBO or Showtime, he might put together a show in the fall with several of his fighters, including Cloud. [Click Here To Read More]

No he won't. King will sit him on the shelf like he does with most of his fighters. Expect to see Cloud's next fight in 2011

King knows how to hold his own PayPerView I believe he was the first to offer his PPV online. Its sickening how everyone sits around and waits on HBO to open up and what makes matters even worse is these alphabet titles go along with it.

He's the best at 175. But that aint saying much. At least he wants to fight again unlike that panzy Dawson.

Maybe showtime will give him a date.A good young fighter needs to stay
active,And not fight once a year.

Hopefully altough with King's track record it wn't happen.

Cloud's inactivity has been bad,3 fights in 3 years.

Strange seeing as how most of his fighters are poster boys for inactivity and he has ruined careers because he can't keep fighters active.

Guillermo Jones' only loss at cruiser came to Steve Cunningham and it was a close decision. He has a title and hasn't fought in 2 years and Cunningham left him because of inactivity, fighting once a year despite having a title and being the best (or close to it) in a division.

I'd like to see him retire Pavlik. I'm kind of sadistic but I'm tired of hearing that mental midget complain about how he was weight drained when he got beat down by Martinez. And like Dawson before him, Pascal is gonna duck Cloud at all costs.
