If anything, that was a b**ch move by Khan. At that time, Maidana was scheduled to face Bradley but pulled out because of the back injury, which was really problems with his team. Plus Maidana didn't make the back injury excuse, his team did. They needed time to sort things out before they could put him back in the ring. And its a b**ch move by Khan because at the time we all thought Maidana was injured, so why would he call out an injured fighter to fight on a date that was like less than two months away? Sure he wasn't really injured, but Khan didn't know that.

Exactly. Funny how Bob Arum or Roach will say something that might not look good for Pac and people say "well Pac didn't say it." But when Maidana's people say he has a back injury without Maidana saying it himself, all of a sudden it's ok to listen to the fighter's team and not the fighter himself. Maidana said himself that was his team making the excuse. Not once did I see Maidana say he had a back injury. Matter fact the first time he spoke on it he said his team lied and he apologized to the fans for it. A lot of people on this site seem to remember what they want or make up what they want. if Khan is not going to fight Alexander, Bradley or Maidana next then him and Roach need to shut the **** up, they keep running their mouths about how Khan would do this and that but yet he is not trying to fight any of them in December

Anyone who saw Khan's early fights knows that he has a chin of glass and is vulnerable to any fighter with air in their lungs. Any half decent fighter with a punch will put him away within a few rounds. People should not be fooled by Freddy Roach's clever matchmaking and hype because he is a KO waiting to happen at any time.Comment

Maidana is right. I used to like Khan but he has turned into a scared little ***** who hides behind his trainer and refuses to fight the best.
Roach paid Maidana money so that he wouldnt demand to fight Khan. But the WBA still ranks Marcos at #1 and he is still manditory challenger. Hopefully Khan will be stripped if he continues to blatantly duck Maidana.Comment

There is no reason JMM - Khan should happen, JMM is old and will not look good past 135....I hope JMM fights Katsidis and this puts Khan in a corner to fight MaidanaComment

The sooner the WBA strips Khan, the better.
His behavior and Roach's match-making are an embarassment to the sport of boxing. Khan's first two defences were against Salita and Malignaggi. I don't think many guys get easier title defences than that. Now he finally has a tough guy in front of him in Maidana and he refuses to fight. He should be stripped.
Khan and Roach will make excuses like "Maidana isnt a big name" and "People in the U.K havent heard of Maidana" but that's just excuses. I doubt that anyone in the U.K had heard of Salita when Khan fought him. Maidana has earned his title shot and if Khan isnt going to fight him. The WBA should strip him immediately. If a guy is your manditory, You should fight him. Period.Comment
