He needs to throw the 1-2 and then bring a right hook behind it.

Too bad he is too scared to throw 3 punches at once.

Nah, he could have started throwing 1-2-3s later in the fight, when he had taken some air out of Huck's tires with the 1 up top and 2 to the pit of the stomach.

Godfrey didn't look too comfortable throwing the right hook anyway though. He didn't really commit to his punches either, so Huck didn't respect his power and he was done for.

Won't do him much now.

Jimmy Burchfield, Godfrey's promoter, says that his fighter is ready. "Matt is coming off the best camp of his career. We had to send home five sparring partners, including two heavyweights, because he knocked them all out. We are ready and we will take the title on Saturday night."
