Imo 70k is low. If this fight happens in mexico it can easily rack up 120k people

I'm just curious as to how many Mexicans will make the trip from Mexico to Dallas to see this. I went to Chavez vs Duddy and a bunch made the trip to San Antonio to see Jr. but Dallas in an additional 3-4 hour drive.

FWIW I was at the Clottey vs Pacquiao fight and there were a ton of Filipinos who made the trip from all over the US to see this fight as well as a lot from the Philippines.

I usually talk to a lot of people at these events, so this is how I know where a lot of these fans are traveling from.

That's kinda what I'm thinking. I always felt that they should have made this fight either May 5th of next year or September 18th of next year. That would have given Margarito an opportunity build himself back up. He goes out and blast Cotto again then no one can say ****. Or even if he destroys Cinton in similar fashion and then beats someone like Berto...then his buzz will start to come back.

Right now there are question marks on his career, ones he could easily shut up if they made this fight later on down the road and allowed Margarito a shot to build himself back up.
