If Marquez is serious about wanting to fight Pac again I think he will choose to move up to 140 to fight Kahn, not to mention the other perks that come with that fight. I hope he doesn't choose to fight Kahn just because of that, but Schaefer is doing his best to convince him. Marquez - stay at your regular weight and move on with your life. Kahn - back up your mouth and fight the best in YOUR weight class.

GBP sucks at developing the reputation of the fighters in their stable. Schaeffer tries to goad a Pacquiao-Marquez fight but seems to make the road to Pacquiao always full of potholes. Khan's development has started even before he joined GBP when he started to work with Roach. Setting up a Khan-Marquez will only destroy the marketability of either, although I suspect GBP is only using Marquez now more as bait.

because beating marquez now does absolutely nothing for pacquiaos legacy

marquez couldnt even knock out juan beer belly diaz at his natural weight, so fighting pacquiao now at 147 is a death wish

pacquiao has a chance of fighting for a 8th world title in 8 different weight classes, something no one has ever come close to and pacquiao is only 31, so he has a chance at winning the middleweight title too!!!
