Margarito at least has a remote possibility of being competitive.
Floyd did not overpower Marquez wieght had nothing to do with the outcome of PBF vs JMM

why people keep bringing this up Manny always had the power and speed advantage stylistically Marquez would still give him some problems

Marquez, weighing 142 against Floyd, had none of the speed, reflexes, or power that allowed him to fight Pacquiao the way he did at 126 and 130. Whereas Pacquiao hasn't lost that much moving up, Marquez loses everything that allowed him to counter Pac's speed and power.

Weight had EVERYTHING to do with Floyd vs. JMM. Floyd is a great welterweight. JMM is a bad welterweight. Same situation with Pac, Pac would show him respect for a round or two and as soon as he realized Marquez was much slower, had no power, and was not able to counter him like he did before, Pac would destroy him.

he lost speed I agree but not reflexes he was fighting with a different game plane against Mayweather JMM was stalking and trying to pressure Floyd you should not use that fight as an example of how a Pacquiao fight would be

he will still be able to time and counter Manny even tho JMM conditioning wont be the same

            Margarito at 150.. hands down.

JMM has no business at 144.
