Here's a good example. Mickey Ward and gatti are good fighters IMO. and they've fought classic wars against each other.

Gatti met Floyd and Floyd made gatti look like an amatuer

        Floyd great
        Gatti very good

I would put it the oppisite.
Trinidad winning his fights undisputed, and owning the most defenses of welterweight history, against grade A fighters,

where DLH is just good, but threw up alot of food to fight at Super Featherweight, moving up devsions like he had ants in his pants, while getting a bunch of gifts along the way.

a great fighter wins over a very good fighter.lol. i mean, great fighters wins on big fights, while very good fighters fall short one time or another.

I haven't agreed with a few of the examples on this thread, but here's my take.

Trinidad and DLH were both greats. Trinidad was the best welter of the mid-late 90's and DLH has an excellent resume himself. Those guys are equal in my book.

Chavez great - Castillo very good
Morales great - Pacquiao very good (that could change though)
Jones great - McClellan very good
