If I remember correctly, Tyson basically tried to **** her, not just flirted with her.

EDIT - I did a search to check:

One day Atlas walked into his apartment and found his wife holding her eleven- year old sister, who was sobbing. What was about to unfold would cause three men to make decisions that would affect the rest of their lives. A sixteen-year old Tyson had tried to force himself sexually on Atlas' eleven-year old sister in law.

An enraged Atlas went to a friend, got a gun and went looking for Tyson. He found Tyson pulling up to the gym in a cab. Atlas grabbed him by the head and pulled him into an alley and rammed the gun into Tyson's ear.

"If you ever put your hands on my family again I will kill you! Do you understand this?" Atlas screamed at him.

It was a chilling confrontation, and if Tyson had so much as smirked, Atlas would be rotting in a jail cell and Evander Holyfield would still have his entire ear on the right side of his head. Atlas fired the gun in the air and left.
    Sorry about the off topic

No, he just tried to kiss her. He was age 15 at the time, she was 13.

That article has the facts wrong, where did you find it?

Teddy overreacted, as he always does.

Check the edited post, it's an article I found. I've heard it a few different places, and it wouldn't suprise me if Mike had tried to push himself on her. But whichever way, Atlas isn't the best of trainers

Has knowledge, doesn't really know how to put it all together to train fighters.

When Tyson "acted up" at school, Atlas as punishment would ban him from the gym. Damato thought Tyson needed to be in the gym so he would sneak Tyson back in when Atlas wasnt around. Tyson would threaten to do stuff to his niece to push Atlas's buttons, basically he created a scenerio where Damato had to choose, Atlas or Tyson. he choose Tyson

Its documented in Teddy's book and the Tyson:Beyond the glory documentary

Co-Sign, but you don't want him in the corner for fights as he tend to put you down even if you win each and every round, something that will confuse his fighter thinking they are doing something wrong when they aren't. A trainer that's good in teaching technical skills and draw up a fight plan, yes, but he got no human, socializing soft skills, treating people like dogs. I got the feeling he's a loner sitting alone at home and talking to his dogs all the day and when facing humans , he doesn't know how to interact with them

                    Donny Lalonde responds to Atlas

by Dave Spencer, fight news Canada

                    2006-06-12

Fight News recent interview with ESPN commentator and trainer Teddy Atlas has drawn quite the reaction from fight fans all across North America. In the exclusive interview, Atlas touched on having to go to Winnipeg and broadcast a fight of Donny Lalonde in 2003, a former world champion on the comeback trail at the time, and somebody Atlas had trained years previous. It is revealed in his book, "Atlas: From the Streets to the Ring: A Son's struggle to Become a Man," that Atlas came very close to murdering the Golden Boy from Winnipeg in his New York City apartment, many years previous to their reunion in Winnipeg. In the book, Atlas describes getting a gun and going into the city, ready to get the job done. Getting buzzed into the building by another tenant and knocking on Lalonde's door. "If he had opened the door, he was dead," Atlas writes, "I would have pulled the trigger, turned around, and walked away."

Teddy waited through the night, waited for Lalonde to return, phoning the apartment periodically. When he finally got through, Lalonde's girlfriend picked up. Atlas asked if Donny was there, and when the answer came back yes, he hung up and started making his way over to the apartment, still intent to finish the job he came to do. Somewhere during that walk, Atlas changed his mind, for whatever reason, he decided not to go down the path that would take Lalonde's life and forever alter his own, likely ruining it. Lalonde who had let Atlas go as a trainer, had no idea how close he actually was to dieing, had no idea that had he not been out that evening, he would have likely been dead.
