Will people give Pacquiao Credit if he beats JMM?

Just thinking since everyone's against Arum's decision that JMM should fight berto first. Do you guys think that people will give pacquiao credits for beating an old overweight(even if he fights at 140 he is overweight) lightweight?

I highly doubt he will get credits at all. The moment JMM marquez starts losing rounds everyone will start to make up an excuse why JMM lost.(Old, Overweight, Drank too much pee, etc...)

If he doesnt get anything in return is it really worth fighting marquez or should he just look for another fighter(Outside top rank ofcourse)

    What do you guys think.

It's true that JMM is old, past prime and overweight at 140 but his style will give Pacquiao more problems than Margarito, Pacquiao could step up and fight Martinez or Williams if he wants a challenge but no we're left with this rubbish.

      Yeah right.

Pacquiao win= JMM is old, washed up, above his best weight, Pacquiao cherry picked him.

Which would all be somewhat true but people wouldn't say anything like that while talking about how JMM will give Pac hell before the fight.

I wouldn't and I'm a huge Pac fan. What the hell is the point now? 2 years and about 20 lbs too late.

At this point it would look like Pac-Morales III or even Pac-Hatton, just a one-sided career-ending demolition.

No and why should he?? For sure it will be at least at 140 probably a cw at around 142-144. I mean khan is being shat on for trying to fight him, but the n1 p4p fighter a guy at 147 it's ok???

Smacks of double standards to me

I have seen people dissing khan/Marquez but PAC/Marquez is a good fair fight?? WTF PAC beats him badly at this stage

excatly but there are ppl who still wants to see this fight to be made rather than Margarito. But for Morales? when you said pac vs morales III you mean IV, you want them to fight again? if so, have you seen his last fight. he looks like my uncle who's been drinking beer all his life. He was so fat that he wouldn't last 3 rounds with pacquiao.

It's not okay for me but others wants to see this fight rather than Margarito. Thats how bad they think Pac vs Margarito.

I would personaly wants to see Pacquiao vs Martinez but he might be too strong for pacquiao. If he ever fights him win or lose he gets my credit...
