which requires more heart? MMA or BOXING? (poll)

was thinking. I've tried both (briefly). With MMA it seemed like there is no escape of any kind so once your in there, your in there until KO or the long messy decision.
I've taken a gd body shot in boxing and took a knee for an 8 count, i tried the same in MMA and got whooped after going to a knee.
My take MMA = more heart, but then again at pro lvl in boxing especially the champ rounds I cant imagine the heart needed.

I don't even understand what you mean. MMA is a lot easier to bail out on. You just hold on, or what they call 'Lay n Pray". If your face is getting batter in, you cant jump in for the takedown in boxing like you can in mma.

If you take a knee, or quit in boxing, you are so bashed it's not even funny. MMA you just go for the take down, and hold on tight.

I'm guessing you're just an MMA troll, but each sport has to have heat, but boxing is so much more established, and more popular world wide, I think there are more boxers with more heart then MMA.

I did both, you're getting hurt and you try to beat another man who have trained for years, so i say they both need heart...

BTW, in boxing, usually after round 6 in a tough fight, because of the pain, your heart is needed to continue...

Why ask that question in a boxing forum?
