Grant looks in pretty good shape in my opinion for a big guy his size. Lets see if he has multiple game-plans. If one game-plan seems to not be working opt to another. If game-plan A works then probably stick with it. If Grant could fight like a Klitschko, which might be too much to ask. He might actually stop Adamek.Comment

Adamek better stick and move. I havent seen Grant in quite awhile, but he had real power and if Adamek tries to be too brave he may be in for a short night.Comment

10 years ago I would have agreed with you. But Grant's done. Even his body looks flabby in comparison to how he used to look.Comment

if interested i have a betting prop going on this one: http://www.boxingscene.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=416211The weights are in for Saturday's heavyweight showdown between Tomasz Adamek and Michael Grant. Adamek, a former light heavyweight and cruiserweight champion, stepped on the scale at a lean and trim 217-pounds. Grant, a 6'7 giant, will have a serious weight advantage as he came in at 261-pounds.

I said I havent seen him in awhile I was just wondering what happened to him awhile back. Has he been active at all? I just know he used to be a decent fighter and that Adamek isnt even a natural HW let alone a SHW. 10years is a long time though.Comment

He's had fights but the opponents have been so weak that it really didn't mean anything. The last semi decent opponent he fought was Dominick Guinn 7 years ago. And he lost by a TKO. I think this is nothing more than a tune up for Adamek. I don't think Grant is much of a threat at this stage and Adamek should stop him without too much trouble. But I see what you're saying about the size difference.Comment
