    Is Lucian Bute the most popular fighter in Montreal?

    I ask this because UFC fighter George St Pierre is also very popular up there.


    Some feedback from people actuallly up in Montreal would be appreciated.

          not from Montreal...but ive heard that Bute is much more famous than GSP in the city itself but pales in comparison to GSPs overall popularity in Canada.

              Why is Lucian Bute so popular over there? I mean he's romanian, not canadian but it seems he is more popular there than in romania.

                  Just a local favourite I guess.He moved to Montreal before he ever turned pro and speaks the language and everything.
