So; still no word from Juanma Lopez??

I guess he's looking for an excuse not to fight Caballero. I swear, if he doesn't step up to the plate and face him, I will lose whatever little bit tiny insignificant amount of grain of whatever is left of respect I once had for what could have been a great individual of this generation in boxing.

I mean, Caballero IS right, there is no other fight out there. They should have unified in 122 but I do give him(juanma) the benefit of the doubt since it was his first division, was inexperienced, was pampered and was weight-drained into not taking a fight that would have cemented his legacy in 122. However there is NO excuse for this fight not to happen now.

Juan Manuel Lopez, either put up or shut up and be forever known as a punk

I've insulted and lost respect for Mayweather for acting like a ***** so no way will I pardon this dude's act and be a hypocrite...At least May did pay his dues before acting like a *****. Juanma thinks he's on a plateau of existence that is all wrong for the kid. He NEEDS this fight

Yeah, we're talking about a few hours here. And it's not like Lopez will have any say who Top Rank picks to replace Marquez. People here are so f'n naive.

I'm sure he heard about the possibility of Marquez pulling out, and just immediately got into his car and drove to every media outlet as quickly as he could to announce his replacement opponent.

                THAT makes sense.

So... since this topic sucks ass, what topic would you like to use to highjack this thread Scott?

                    straight out of Mexico City...

...Fight is postponed and is expected to POSIBLY be re-scheduled for November
