A ban for life is not a bad idea , but a 3-4 years ban can be quite harsh and damaging also as he will be quite finished anyways regarding the damage that was put on him already , plus such a layoff.

I agree with Oscar, but usually when he says something its being motivated by something else, so in this case its motivated by him wanting Marquez to fight Pac instead of Margarito.

I can see that but this has been Oscars stance since the begining!!

I've always said that Margarito should never be allowed to earn money from boxing again. DLH has a good point, what if this cheating SOB actually killed someone with his plaster of paris hands?

It's never too late. Plus he has no room to talk since he basically is partners with 2 of them. Mosley with the roids and Hopkins inside the ring.

FYI, Oscar is my all time favorite boxer but unlike some of you all, I criticize him when I think it's wrong.

the agenda behind Oscar's statements is glaring

1. he wants Manny to fight Marquez again which IMO is something that could help GBP as I have heard they aren't exactly in the black this year.

2. he wants nothing more than to stop a potential Top Rank money earner from fighting.

3. CSAC has long been rumored to be in GBP's pocket

If Tony was his fighter he would be screaming about the unjust way he was treated and demand fairness while applying elsewhere

Ive never really been for against DLH, but he is starting to annoy me. DLH flat out ducked Margarito after the Cotto fight, before the fight he had been claiming he would fight the winner but he acted totally disinterested after the fight. Maybe DLH should come out of retirement and challenge Margo instead of just talking ****.
