It was stated by the officers of the commission that it is medically dangerous and not advisable at all. The commision had a conference on this
sorry i dont have the link but it is medically dangerous to do tests near a fight. To those who have that link pls enlightened us that one that has only Tygart supporting blood test.
They also didn't address fighters suffering cuts and bleeding during fights.
That's in contrast to what Arum claimed that the reason they shouldn't test Manny was "because sometimes the nurse can't find the vein."
So what is more dangerous a needle prick a few days before the fight, or
getting punched and headbutted in the head, opening up a cut, and bleeding profusely?Comment

I mean, why? Really? To prove a point? That is really what it comes down to.
Edit: The article that Castor Troy is speaking of, stated that is why Tygart (or whatever his name is) stopped the blood testing at 18 days, but continued with the urine test. Other doctors supported his claim. Stated that boxers use there arms for the fight. Stated in that prolonged use, the blood drown could cause problems, even injure the fighter. It is not recommended.Last edited by HandSpeed303; 08-20-2010, 01:35 AM.Comment

So now this turned into a drug testing thread?
Honestly I like how Targart, or whatever his name is, side stepped the issue about them compromising their testing for Floyd and Shane. I saw right threw him and this fake @ss PED crusade from the jump.Comment

I also like how Floyd walked away from OST when he could have set an example...since he is cleaning up the sport of boxing (yeah ****in right)? I like how he has a promotional company yet none of the fighters he promotes are subjected to testing.
Yeah keep drinking the kool-aid and buying into this b.s. that are nothing more than smoke screens.Comment
