I think Cotto does in my opinion, but won't lie that I'm a bit biased since I don't like Margarito at all. Arum chasing after a Margarito fight when a Cotto rematch makes more sense since Cotto is looking far superior to Margarito at this present time.
Who has more left in the gas tank? Cotto or Margarito?

Cotto is on his way up in every aspect, and Margo just got denied his licence to box in Cali, the state that originally revoked his licence. That can't be good for his mental conditioning. I bet he's a mess inside. And Steward is making very nice improvements with Cotto. His confidence is growing back. But to be fair, we still need a good competitive fight as a barometer to see where Cotto really is at.
But I'm sure he's in a better place overall than Margo. I would go so far as to say if they fought now, I think Cotto would win. I'd bet big on it too.Last edited by jazluvr; 08-19-2010, 05:22 PM. -
If you compare their last opponents, and who did better overall. It has to go to Cotto, Cotto just won a belt off Yuri Foreman. While Margarito looked bad against someone I don't even remember the name. Cotto was dominating Yuri for the most part even before Yuri's leg pulled out. I do however think Yuri most likely may have gone the distance with Cotto if it wasn't for the leg pulling out, but he was losing on the score-cards big time.Cotto is on his way up in every aspect, and Margo just got denied his licence to box in Cali, the state that originally revoked his licence. Kneeguel Cotto is done damaged goods. The ass whooping he received at the hands of the Tijuana Tornado will never stop haunting him.Comment
