I mean yea it does give us some great fights but also pushes fights that we dont want down out throughts

I just find it amazing that they have THAT much control

Yes I am distrubed by it because they don't put on the best fights anymore and force trash down our throats like bradley-abregu, salido-gamboa, foreman-cotto, malignaggi-con, alexander-kotelnik to name a few. I don't want pre-determined fights on my premium cable that I pay for, I want good match ups that you look forward to and don't know who is supposed to win. HBO fails in that the last several years. Im thinking of pulling the plug and as somebody on here turned me on to just order HBO the day of a fight and then cancel. **** em

But i liked Cotto-Foreman and Kotelnik-Devon but yea they do that.

My question is, if Boxng is the only reason you have HBO, then why didnt you do that from the start?

absolutely correct. hbo is in the business of trying to make certain individuals stars ultimately in detriment to the sport as a whole.

Arum would do an independent PPV before he puts either Gamboa or Juanma in with Caballero. Sad too, because Cab and either one of them would be a heck of a fight.
