You can't blaim Juanma if his promoter won't make the fight. Arum has insisting that He will not allow another promoter to take advantage of his investments and there you have it. People were move too much by Caballero's taunt and forget that Juanma does not make fights. His promoter does and the fight hasn't happened because Caballero has been very poorly promoted.
Juanma haters will squeeze this situation to death, but really What do you expect??
Juanma to jump on a plane and fist fight Pelachin in Colon???
      Less think gentlemen.
Juanma will fight Caballero as soon as He signs on the dot and everything else is just haters hating.

I agree 90% with you Stone, yes, it's very embarrassing the way Juanma is ducking Caballero and it's beyond defendable. Caballero has been calling him like for a year or two and Juanma just avoided him. I even met him because he's friend of my uncle and I told him about this forum and asked him if he planned to fight Caballero and he told me he was doing it, that was a year ago.

The 10% that I disagree is that the Haye case is a bit different: Haye called out Wlad, he hyped everyone saying he was going to HW to beat all the fat and boring fighters there just to fight Barret, run against Valuev and rabbit punch Ruiz, so in some way is a bit worse.

But hell yeah, both of them ducked, and they both should be ashamed.

Respect to both you Rican Boxing Fans, for keeping it real.

Sorry, I shouldn't have generalised like I did with my original post, well if it sounded that way atleast.

You're right, the Haye-Wlad situation is an extreme case of "ducking", but you understand where I'm coming from here.

There is nothing wrong with fighting Rafa as an opponent, but it still doesn't negate the fact he(or he his promotion team) have given Caba the cold shoulder.

No matter who you are or who your promoter is all fighters have a say on who they can fight next.. if Juanma wanted to fight Caballero then it would get done.. simple as that..

Juanma wasnt ready for Caballero at that stage. It was too risky to put Juanma in with him.

Hes improved the last few fights and after he KOs rafa, he will fight gamboa or John. Juanma will clean out the division no problem.

while the first part of your post may be true, it is not a valid excuse. because imo once you have a belt around your waist. you are no longer a prospect, and have no excuse to avoid what would be considered a tough fight.

so it was mtagwa's good promoter and not his mediocre record that got him a title shot with juanma.
