Adamek next in line for Wlad in December?

I just had a look at the WBO rankings and Adamek is now ranked no1 contender behind Wlad and I have been told that a win against Grant would make him the mandatory challenger for this belt, Wlad has also said he wants to fight again in December if he beats Peter without injury. Hopefully we will get to see this fight.

Despite being one of the best at Heavyweight the height and reach advantage is just too ridiculous for Adamek to win this fight. It's a shame really.

If you're as small as Adamek is, I think the only way to beat Wlad is to knock him out pretty much, and Adamek doesn't have the power to do that. Wlad would stop Adamek.

I wouldn't mind seeing it though, at least he is a pretty legit contender.

At least Adamek would fight Wlad, unlike Haye. It would be fine if Haye didn't call out anyone, but he did, and now he won't back it up.

Adamek would rather get KTFO than be a coward, so more props to him, even though this is not a winnable fight for him.

If Wlad fights Adamek I bet they could sell 100K in a Berlin Stadium.

Peter should be fighting Grant and Wlad should be fighting Adamek now such a shame we have to wait for this.

                Yes.

The best heavyweight is Julius Long, who is 7'2" and has a reach of 90".

Michael Grant is an inch taller than Wlad at 6'7" (Wlad is 6'6") and has a longer reach at 86" to Wlad's 81".

                  Seems so.

I think for Adamek to win he'll have to abandon his patience and technique and really work hard to get inside, and probably take a lot of punishment in the process. I think he can hurt Wlad though, if he can land.

If he fights his usual fight he'll be a typical Wlad victim, death by a thousand jabs.
