Jacobs, to be sucessful must go back to square 1. Start over and work his way back up. Move up slow but still improve his opponents each time out.

He should fight Elvin Ayala, when David Lemieux KO'd 1 Ayala in his last fight, many people were saying that Ayala was a tomato can, so let's see how Jacobs will perform against him... or let's see how Lemieux does against Jacobs... When i made a thread saying that Lemieux was better than Jacob, it got deleted ! So i guess it would make a great fight...

Lemieux has decent power, not one punch power but very good power like james kirkland who also runs off very powerful combinations that break opponents.
Lemiuex right now would beat jacobs by tko/ko.
Lemiuex needs his chin checked before you call him the next best thing. But yes he beats jacobs.

It'll be an easy opponent...

I support Danny but I am curious about his chin...Ishe Smith stunned him and Ishe's a natural 154-pounder...and Pirog landed a great shot and brtually knocked him out...

He's gonna have to improve his defense or he'll only be able to compete at a certain level...from what I've heard he can't make 154 so he's gonna have to deal with MW...

And even Pirog said he punches like an amateur...he doesn't really sit down on his punches well...Danny's never been a devastating puncher(despite what his record may say)

Maybe a new trainer or something can show him some things...

He did spar with some decent fighters and I know he sparred with Anthony Hanshaw before the Pirog fight...

That Danny Jacobs knockout was weird, he looked like he was hit with a monster shot but then like 4 seconds later he tried to get back up but the ref wouldn't let him. It was clearly a brutal shot, so its not like it was a bad stoppage or anything because Danny probably was going to get stopped after that and taken unnecessary punishment. Still weird how brutal that punch looked yet Danny looked like he could have gotten up if the ref didn't hold him down.

Again not the refs fault, I'm sure if I was the ref and I saw someone land a brutal shot like that on a fighter. My first instinct is stop the fight even if the fighter thinks their fine to continue.

Danny shouldn't have left his glove up in the air...it made him look lifeless and stiff on the canvas...bad move...
