Adamek is an exciting fighter who would appeal to the casual boxing fan.

I don't know why people get this perception of me. I enjoy American boxing but they don't rank too high on my pecking order, if we are talking favoritism, in fact my two favorite fighters come from countries not names USA(jmm and cotto).

Adamek is a decent fighter and has spurts through his fights where he is pretty exciting but by himself he just can't draw the ratings that needs to be drawn on HBO. He was on the network when he fought another popular fighter in Arreola and that is what would be needed to be put back on the network. Problem is the Heavyweight division is so poor at the moment that the only names HBO would even consider putting together is the matchups of Wlad, Vitali, or Haye.
