Based on accomplishments and opposition Bradley deserves more. just cause you can **** talk and been on a biased network like HBO doesnt make you the ****. my two cents.
you need to chill out man. obviously you flunked business 101. every fight is like starting a new business with another partner. whichever partner brings more initial start up capital (i.e. promotion, network backing, attendance drawing power), usually, but not always, gets a bigger cut of the profits. no one here is saying that alexander is better, they're just saying he brings more drawing power to the table. hbo gives them a date and a flat fee. any extra money from the attendance gate (after operating costs are covered) is pretty much a bonus. like you said, bradley don't want to fight in st. louis, he obviously cares more about the chance of unfair judges than he does about money. fair enough. but to say he deserves more than 50-50? i don't think so. i completely agree bradley is far more seasoned and accomplished, and given alexander's performance against kotelnik, i think bradley would win by UD. it would still be an exciting fight though. both guys are aggressive and both are there to be hit as well.

I just believe Bradley should get to pick the venue and a 50/50 split..Bradley like you said is more accomplished and he is also the #1 Jr WW in the world..Bradley should get to have a demand on something..

if bradley doesnt take this fight on a 50/50 split he is ducking and he loses all credibility in my book.

WHAT IS ALSO STRANGE is fans complaining about a fighter that is just asking for 50-50 it is not like Alexander is asking for 60-40 because he sold more tickets and his fight got better ratings

I think 50-50 is fair and I don't see anything wrong with Cunningham putting it out their EARLY that they want 50-50, he also said they would like it in St Louis but it doesn't have to be in St Louis

so I am trying to understand WTF are some of you *****ing and complaining about

Is Bradley afraid of losing to Alexander? I mean styles do make fights sometimes, and maybe Kotelnik does some things better than Bradley does that would trouble Alexander. I mean 50/50 is a good for both parties, if Bradley is confident in winning then I don't see why this fight isn't being made? Not that its the end of the career to the loser but still. I was pretty confident Bradley would win but he seems more concerned about the money then beating a good fighter in Alexander. I mean its still early in both of their careers so I don't know why 50/50 is such a fuss.

They were amped up for the Spinks fight. They were booing loudly when he lost.

I think it's fair to say that he's not the king of St Louis anymore.

The Johnson-Cloud fight was pretty quiet after the 3rd round. I hadn't been to a fight in St Louis before and I was surprised at how quiet the crowd was.

Even for the Alexander fight it was really quiet in the middle of the fight. I'm not from St Louis, it shouldn't be my job to start a DE-VON chant.

Regardless, the fight was promoted well but people are acting like Spinks wasn't on the card and didn't help bring in the 10k.

Anyway 50-50 is fair and the fight should be made!

Do you get that from this thread??What I hear is a camp who was blasting Bradley about talking bout money now talking about Money...LOL.Shaw only said he was not fighting in the lue which is smart anyway get out of your area and do some expanding. As for the 50/50 split Shaw said nothing against it.If anyone sounds like they are backing out it's Devon's team..

none of these guys are going to become a star if they dont fight people. thats what these new fighters dont understand. Pacquiao and Mayweather became stars not because they were careful with fights but because they continually fought and beat big names. Only later in their career did they have the leverage to avoid certain people.

I wish HBO would stop being a little ***** and make these guys fight. Without them none of these fighters make any money. Ya they could go to Showtime but its not like Showtime shells out the same kind of money.

I'm interested to see who Alexander fights next. Khan won every round and then some against Kotelnik and Alexander just about scrapped a home decision on him. I think his credibility just took a nosedive and he needs Bradley more than ever right now.
