      He won a world title at that weight two years after he fought Floyd.

      His troubles with the courts could have been a serious distraction, though.

          I doubt it,Corrales continued to fight many times at that weight after he lost to Floyd.Corrales excuses was he was distracted by the problems outside of boxing meaning the domestic dispute and other things.But Corrals fights the same way every-time except for when he fought Cassamayor for the second time.So it it would`nt have matter if he did`nt have outside problems.

                    Though Floyd early in his career had similar distractions and prevailed.

                    I believe it made little difference.

                    Floyd was on top of his game and it was a bad style match-up for Corrales.

                    He may have done a bit better with Joe Goosen in his corner though.
