honestly I think he gets denied here and then he gets license in Texas. Their was a lot of pressure from Jerry Jones and a lot of highly influential Mexicans in Texas to get Margarito a license earlier this year.

From what I heard, Rick Perry, who was governor at the time and trying to be re-elected, thought it wasn't a smart move to push for Margarito to get his license. Reason being is because him and Kay Bailey Hutchinson (who worked under Perry I think) were in a heated contest for governor and she was using any and everything to throw dirt on his name.

Now that he won, and is governor again, there really isn't anything holding him back from helping Margarito get his license back. Also there are a lot of prominent people in Texas who are on Margarito's side, so I know for a fact he will get his license here.

I know people will get upset, but who gives a ****, that's life so deal with it. I actually like Margarito fighting here because his fight will do very good in places like San Antonio, Houston and Dallas.

but Rick perry isn't governor again yet that was the primary with kay bailey hutchinson now he has to deal with the general election with bill white so idk if Rick will still be pushing for margs to get a license
