Well he was the 2009 national champ when he was only 17.
that generally holds a lot of promise, when hes competing against guys in their 30s that have been doing boxing far longer than he has.
And good sparring with top level fighters has often produced impressive fighters. Examples: Jose Luis Castillo learned from Julio Cesr Chavez and Larry Holmes learned from Muhammed Ali.
thats the problem with amateurs nowadays. all the winners are already old, and therefor have little promise in the pros. the best fighters win amateur competitions when theyre very young, like Mayweather, Wladimir, and Ward as a few examples.
speaking of which, Frankie Gomez looks to be a good prospect as well.Comment

****, I don't care what I'm doing or how much ' ass ' I'm getting. This is a boxing forum and you're hyping this guy up to be some sort of ATG. I say what I think and I think he ain't **** until he steps it up.
You're a troll, no one takes your opinion seriously. Your intention is to annoy people and flame.
5k+ posts since June, maybe you should ask yourself what you're doing with your life.Comment
