Cotto is one of my favorites, but even I agree that Chavez will not be an easy fight for Cotto, he may even be beaten by Chavez. The reason I dont like JCC Jr is the same that I havent liked him for several years, until Duddy he had fought absolutely nothing but tomato cans and sported a fraudulent perfect record. Even Duddy had little more than a punchers chance, and now JCC Jr is fighting the smallest JMW he can find. If he beats Cotto, I will give him props, Miguel is the first real fighter Chavez has faced.
Why is everyone hating on JCC Jr so much now?

Why would you call someone who's asking a valid question a moron? The real question is, why are you morons hyping him up?
His biggest win is against John Duddy.
I wouldn't say Cotto is an impossible task for him, especially with Roach training him, but give me a break. The dude has over 40 fights and is still a prospect at best.
Fighters get WAY over-hyped here at NSB, it's not even funny.Comment

Eh, was more of a general comment. JCC Jr is getting extremely over-hyped here, it's pathetic (although not uncommon).
He's probably the most protected active fighter, with the most padded record. He's completely untested, and possibly even unprepared for an extremely skilled fighter like Cotto.Comment

People hate on him for things he has no control over!
He is the son of a boxing legend which you cant do much about it. He gets called out about his record being mostly bums, But haters overlook the fact that the kid only fought 3 times as a amature! Promoters decided to milk his name instead of develop him as a fighter. Most pros had 100s of amature bouts. And the worst is when haters complain about his lack of competition, and when he wants to fight a legit opponent they bash him.
The guy works hard like any other boxer, and stays away from trouble, and doesnt talk ****. I hope he doesnt great and put on a good show with cotto.Comment

No one is hating on him for taking on Cotto.
They're hating on you guys for over-hyping him and claiming he actually has a good chance at winning. Quite a big claim for a fighter with such a bloated record, and completely untested (whether you consider it his fault or not).Comment
