Although I dont really think its a good idea that Jr. faces Cotto right away, I do think its a better option then facing Kelly Pavlik. They first wanted him to fight Mayorga, then Pavlik after that fight. Toe to Toe Mayorga would have knocked out Jr. As for Pavlik I think his handlers were thinking Pavlik is past his Prime but soon realized "Lets not make the same mistake Morales did with Barrera.
