Why would Arum tell Pacquiao "NO" if he thinks Pacquiao should be paid like Mayweather?

Because if Arum denies Pacquiao's request he is basically telling Pacquiao he is not a big of draw as Mayweather, and therefore undercutting his argument that Pacquiao deserves 50% against Mayweather.

I can not help but believe that Pacquiao saw the contract on Mayweather's twitter page and was like
"WTF" why isnt Bob Arum guaranteeing me $25 Million per fight !!!

Mayweather making $22.5 on guaranteed money alone, plus PPV money, for the Mosley fight which netted him $40 according to every report must have had team Pacquiao rethinking their business model.

Bob has been down this road before. he can't lose Manny right now. Losing ODH and floyd prob coat Bob $100 - $120 mil over the past 6-7 yrs. So he has to get it somehow.

I'm more focused on Manny. For all his fans on this board who says he fights for legacy and competitive spirit need to just get off it. Manny is a great fighter. But no matter how you cut it, he isn't the guy, floyd is. In boxing, "the man" makes the most per fight. Not FOTY, FOTD etc etc. Manny wants to get paid for his work just like floyd.

Bob would have to do one of 2 things to get manny that much dough:
1. pay him out of his own pocket after charging jerry jones more
2. reduce his promoter's fee so manny doesn't lose as much

But don't worry Horus. Manny fights for the people and for the competition and for legacy. he will gladly take less because Marg is a top fighter who deserves a chance to win a title. Manny will take less so the ppv will only be $49.95 and not $54.95 or $59.95 so the hardworking fans can pay less to see him fight.

I think if he did ask bob has no choice but to pay it. I actually think manny should be making that for simple fact that he f-ck manny money up by not letting him fight Floyd the first time. **** he could have lost and still fought clottey.

What people forgot Floyd had sponsors for the fight. There is no way manny shouldn't have the sme. Nike needs to be all over his fights. Manny is like Yao.
