I have been to ghana, and south africa and have Dual citizenship (ghana/us) I will eventually build a home there.

As a black man in america, I know our history, I was born at night , not last night. Identifying with a culture and ethnicity is vital for one's self confidence. Claiming to be "mixed" is like, saying your are peanut butter and jelly. It's not good for identity sake. That is why I encourage all people to identify strongly with a culture, race, ethnicity. Or we will end up like brazil... millions of confused people going through perpetual identity crisis with portuguese and spanish names.

anyways, I never understood this whole 'cultural heritage' thing. Why would I want to connect with a certain culture just because my blood happened to come from that region? its ******ed. haha, that is one problem I have with America. not many people even like to call themselves 'Americans', and instead say theyre Haitian, Mexican, Irish, blah blah blah.

Maybe its because were such a melting pool of cultures that weve lost our own identity as a nation
