It was pretty high up on his head. It was a good sized gash but I don't think it really altered the fight dramatically at all from the MENTAL aspect. Taylor came out of that butt timeout and rushed Hopkins with a combination and continued on with his gameplan.

As for making him lose any strength or energy, yeah it probably didn't help him any in that department, but I didn't see him bleeding profusely or anything.

I actually enjoyed this fight a lot.

I'm more impressed that he took those shots with a concussion and stayed on his feet.

i'm surprised taylor stayed up with hopkins after that butt.

that gash had to alter his thinking for the rest of the fight. think that hopkins wouldnt of had his way so much in the 10-12 round if it wasnt for the butt.

Damn you're ******ed. That butt wasn't nearly as bad as the right hands he was eating from the sixth on, or the other butt, in which Hopkins went for a right to the body, and caught his chin with his head.

The blood loss might have tired him a bit, but the butt itself wasn't as bad as some of the other things he was hit with later on.

I'm amazed he lasted through the 12th, though. He definitely does not seem to have the warrior mentality, though. It's like he doesn't want to be there, really, just there for fortune and fame, or something.

you have to give him credit. he handled it a lot better then most more expierienced fighters would of.

hopkins started to get his way after that. but taylor stayed with him.

i figure the outcome would have been more in taylors favor if that butt didnt happen.
It didnt appear to, maybe it did, considering Bernard started to take over after that.

What's more amazing is the judge that gave Taylor the 12th round. Maybe the headbutt affected him Just kidding obviously.

No ****, man. I can't believe anyone with a functioning brain would score round 12 for Taylor.

That was one of the most lopsided rounds I've ever seen in a fight.

yes ford giving taylor the 12th was worst then a bad call.

but roths scorecard giving hopkins all those rounds was weird too.

ive watched this fight three times. twice with screaming maniacs around me and once by myself. i ended up making more rounds even then i like but came up 116-115 taylor.

hope people watch it again and keep score this saturday.
