First Boxing Fight you ever saw? And the one that got you into watching Fights?

Well when I was a kid my first fight I saw was when De La Hoya fought Fernando Vargas. It was so explosive because we had all our family over watching cheering Oscar.

But the fight that got me into boxing was when I saw Mayweather fight Hatton. Hahaha. Basically I saw him on dancing with the stars and I wanted to see him fight, and I instantly loved boxing. But then he retired then I quit watching boxing. Then my father told me there's this fight coming up it's going to be REALLY good. I watched De La Hoya fight Pacquiao. Hahaha weird. Anyways when I saw Pacquiao beat the leaving mess out of De La Hoya I felt really sad. Because Oscar was the first fight I ever saw. Since then I've become a big fan of boxing.

I started to really follow it after Mayweather vs DLH. That started a lot of the whole welther weight, pac vs may, pac vs hatton, mayweather vs hatton all that stuff.

Not a great fight but the one that got me into boxing was Nelson-Cowdell. Azumah laid him out flat in the first with an uppercut from hell.

don't remember the first fight i saw,

but i remember Mayweather vs Augustus being one of them.

but i started really watching fights after Pacquiao vs Ledwaba

you could say i was a bit of a ******* and would only watch Manny fight

then Miguel Cotto vs Shane Mosley really got me started,

since then i became a BOXING fan,

been going back and watching fights i've missed since then

from FNF's to Fox Sports, to HBO, Showtime, Skysports, you name it

Ali-Foreman when my dad used to watch ol fights when I was a kid, he couldnt stop talkin about boxing

What got me into boxing in high school is Floyd when he fought Gatti cuz of his trash talkin style and defensive technique which is different cuz its usually the high offence brawlers that do that

Before high school I'd follow boxing casually but it was aroun grade 10 when I started really following it....

Chavez vs Camacho in 93 or 92..

I went with my pops to a friends house..they were having a big bbq for the fight..all the men 20+ in the back yard sitting in aluminum chairs around this lile 27" tv..all the women inside playing loteria (mexican bingo) and the kids were all over the ****ing place...except me..i was watching the fight..

                  that got me into boxing..

i think i watch all the major fights PPV,SHOBOX and HBO..some ESPN FNF's...but ive only followed the careers of Pacquiao,Cotto,Juan Diaz,Barrera and Vargas more than the others..
