I hope he can get a fight with Chris John. In fact if they can't get this fight on the tripleheader he should go for another date and fight this guy. He could fight Rojas too since they are saying he'd be ready in the fall.

Rojas won't be ready until 2-3 months rest and another 2 months of training camp. He wouldn't be ready for a fight on 10-2 (tripleheader date), possibly late November or December.

Caballero-John is a fight I would want to see, Caballero-Litzau won't prove anything.

CC needs a fight against a either John, Rojas, Rocky Martinez, or Vazquez Jr. to prove his point. He might not be the most skilled, but he's supremely conditioned and has plenty heart that will make him a tough out against anyone.

How about after Rafa, Juanmaricon fights Gamboa or Rojas or Caballero? He needs to stop taking the easy way out which is exactly what fighting Chris John would be.
Luckily John and Caballero have the same promoter and he has come out and said that Lopez will not get a Chris John fight until he fights Caballero first.
