his biggest mistake was when he left the Wild Card gym for a trainer that could speak spanish, I mean there are spanish speaking trainers at the gym but there were other issues, such as his laziness and lack of dedication. I can't wait to see him exposed soon by a mexican journey man, those are tough guys

from what i remember his biggest complaint was that he didn't get enough 1 on 1 time with Roach. Sounded like he expected Roach to work with him almost exclusively.

yer but he was the best amateur ever or so they say, he would of trained most of his life 1 on 1 in cuba.

Coming over to the US and into a gym with lots of pro stars obv wasnt what he was looking for. Whether he is a pre-Madonna and is lazy as reported or needed more training and wants to win only time will tell.

243-4 is a very, very good amateur record, but comapare it to the real all-time best amateur Vasyl Lomachenko - 300-1.
Can't wait when that kid will turn pro.

That gym is pretty packed though so it's understandable imo.

Also, I know when Roach was working with him he was trying to make him more aggressive but I don't think that's in his nature. He may fit better with a roger mayweather type of trainer who will allow him to focus more on defense and counter punching.
