you guys must be living in the past. Toney has been steadily going downhill for about 4 years now, and is little more than a clubfighter at this point.

no, he can ground and pound him, which i think that is what he will do, since he's said that is exactly what he's going to do, which toney isnt going to have any defense for coutures take downs, professionals in mma can hardley deal with his take downs.

couture can kick the ever living sheeeiiitttt out his legs, leaving him nothing to stand on, or a kick to the dome, randy isnt known for his kicks, but he has them, and they'd be enough to deal with toney.

couture can also catch wrestle toney, which couture is a master at, which is standing grappling and in mma gives openings for dirty boxing, holding and hitting, elbows, knees.

this is all stuff toney has never seen inside the ring/cage before. toney has a punchers chance, but will couture give it to him.

i wont be surprised if couture starts the fight with a low kick to the legs, a lead right hand, right into a take down, where he keeps toney on the ground and doesn't let toney get anything off, ground and punding toney until the ref stops it.

this fight is ****ed up beyond belief, it's not an even playing field, couture would have a better chance in boxing than toney ever has in mma. nothing against toney, I WANT TONEY TO WIN, but lets be honest, unless toney has been perfecting his sprawl, bjj, wrestling, and muy thai, secretly for the last decade and none of know **** about it? then he might have a chance in mma other than a boxers punching chance.

i think after this mma needs to throw one of their top fighters in with a top boxer in a 12 round boxing match. it's only fair, take them out of their game, the things that they rely on. because we all know only a very select few would ever stand a chance lasting 12 rounds with a top boxer. they coldn't do it without grappling and clinching, where a lot of the time they get their rest. other than a punchers chance, a boxer beats a mma guy in boxing 99% of the time.
