    Cleverly?

I'd rather see Pascal fight the winner of Froch/Abraham

A rematch with Froch would be a good fight.
And to see if Abraham's power could carry him to the next level.

For a man of 25K posts I’d have hoped by now you’d have realised that boxing does not always work out that way.

But perhaps there’s no hope for some people on this forum?

It's not that. It's just that Cleverly does not have the experience, or the tools needed to be at the top of light heavyweight yet.

Hmmm they said similar thing about Lloyd Honeyghan / James Douglas / JEAN PASCAL (how much of an underdog was he with bookmakers on Saturday.......) Ricky Hatton. I could go on...

Come on man, be reasonable. Sometimes a fighter only proves his legitimacy for being on the big stage by being given the opportunity of doing it on the big stage.

You should never write off a fighter who is quite genuinely seen as a highly regarded prospect, after all, all the best boxers were at one time only ever thought of as the same

I don't think 5ft 10" Murat will even get close to him.
                Overconfident that is, yes.

Just compare boxing to football: He sounds like as if he's just short before winning the Premier League but already talks about being in the final of the Champions League next year...

Clev will not be any great shakes at World Class, however.

Well Pascal is not a world class fighter either

I like Cleverly, hes a good fighter and could go on to big things. At the minute though, i think he needs to keep active and work his way up a little more before thinking of taking on the big names in the division.

Umm. Do you understand the definition of world-class?

He's beating world-class guys, top contenders, titlists. He just beat the #1 Light-Heavyweight.

He's clearly world-class. World-class does not mean elite or A fighter. It just means able to hang at true world level.
