Dawson is the more skilled fighter, its obvious. Dawson is the bigger *****, and thats why he lost the fight. If he wasn't afraid of getting hit so much he would have put Pascal on his ass a few times, he also needs to learn how to counter instead of avoiding punches. He leans completely over to his side instead of rolling and countering. He still needs a lot of work (more than I thought) but it all comes down to him seeming to be "babied" in his fights. Essentially he doesn't have the mentality of a fighter which is what you need in fights, at least SOME fights. Floyd will finish of a fighter if given the chance, Dawson NEEDED to finish off this guy and he simply couldn't pull the trigger. That alone is the reason he'll never do much better as a fighter, because without the balls to throw punches to KO you're going to lose fights at some point, and it just happened to him.

Dawson keeps lowering himself by making excuses and whinning. Dawson got whipped, Dawson lost so stop crying. Dawson lost most of any mystique he might have had as the best light heavy now he is just another fighter who got whipped. I loved Pascal's passion and energy.

Wow, I''m a little confused. Didn't Chad Dawson do the same exact thing to Glen Johnson in the second fight? Why didn't you stand and fight Johnson? It's because it wasn't in your best interest... Right? Pascal used the only game plan he can to beat you. Now Man up, and stop making an excuse. You're looking like a cry baby, and sore loser Chad.

Pasdcal ran...um okay. What Pascal did was use angles and circle the ring, using his movement to set up his shots. It's just that Dawsons ring IQ is low and he fell into the trap. Also Dawson why were you running most of the time when Pascal would come into range and go into attack mode firing off combinations, this guy just seems like a bitter loser.

Sad Chad shut up- stop crying and whinning and pouting like Dirrell. Chad has complained more than any other fighter I can remember and it diminishes his mystique forever. He is losing all credibility he may have had and is becoming a joke.

All these people saying Chad would have won if he stepped it up. No he could not step it up until Pascal started gassing, but it was still irrelevant. Pascal confused the hell out of him at times, scared him at times and just plain made him second guess himself in the ring.

Chad likes a slow, forward moving opponent to showcase his skills. Pascal gave him something he just did not have the ability to handle.

Because if he tried that in the first he very well may have ended up on his ass. He was getting to Pascal only when Pascal decided not to move.

You may not have noticed, but Pascal was very strong and very fast early in the fight. Chad was cautious for a reason.

This is all there is too it. Guys Chad Dawson can not handle fighters, with athleticism like him, that have better movement and speed. Had he went gun ho in the first Pascal would have went gun ho back and in a battle of chins I would pick pascal to drop chad first too.

He has the style to beat either boxers slower, and less technically difficult than himself, or plodders who walk in straight lines due to style or age, like Tarver and Johnson. Above point mande by deanrw are the best posts I have seen since the fight, green k on the way.

Only if Pascal gasses, and lets not forget Pascal was only cleared to start training a few weeks ago after a serious surgery and therapy.
