Is Ortiz-Harris for the interim WBO JWW title?

I remember Tim Bradley saying Ortiz will probably become his mandatory. Does anyone know if his fight with Harris is for the interim WBO title, which would really make him the mandatory? Bradley hasn't defended his title in 8 months, so I could very well see this happening. I highly doubt Bradley is gonna give up his only title to fight Alexander, because that would only leave two belts on the line instead of three (which would ruin the possibility of unifying all four belts with Khan), so that would postpone the Bradley-Alexander fight until mid or late 2011.

idk but thatll be a pretty good fight. i know people are down on ortiz but i think he is still a good fighter. maidana folded him but that doesnt mean any of the other jr welters would do the same. bradley vs ortiz in cali, not bad at all.

It doesn't say that, but Ortiz is already his #1 and knowing what type of relationship promoters have with the sanctioning bodies, I can see Ortiz getting a mandatory/interim title against Harris.

I would think Bradley would be able to fight Alexander in the interim, but you never know with these corrupt, garbage organizations. I can see them stripping Bradley as soon as the fight gets signed.

Bradley is all wrong for Ortiz, unless Ortiz is able to knock him out early (which might not be out of the question given Ortiz' speed and power, and Bradley being dropped hard twice against Holt). But that's only a punchers' chance. After seeing how uncomfortable Ortiz looked after the 7th, 8th round against Campbell, even though he was barely getting hit, it tells me Bradley would overwhelm him and break his will.

GBP needs to fire their matchmaker.

I know Ortiz is the WBO number 1 contender and thats why Bradley said most likely Ortiz is his mandatory

it make sense hopefully it is interim title and the mandatory
