Main Events know what they're doing. They're showing that they're one of the best promoters, even though they don't have the same connections as the others.

It makes good business sense for Judah's handlers to try and maneuver him into a big money fight (which could be his last). It's smart for them to keep him in a holding pattern, fighting bums with decent records and waiting for that fat payday. Of course, that is exactly what is so wrong with modern boxing.
It's just a couple of comeback fights and tune ups. Erik Morales is doing the same thing and no one says anything.

I see people are hating on Zab but I actually like how he's staying active and trying to earn his way to a bigger name opponent instead of just getting it on his lap.

The guy he just stopped in 3 rounds is way, way better than Clark.

This fight is going to be a massacre. Who would pay to see this? No one is asking him to take short money to face a monster. A mismatch like this is a disgrace to the sport though. Zab Judah should not be fighting this guy. Clark should be retired.

It will make Judah look good then. Like I said, he's fighting lesser names and earning his way back to fight a more decent name.

A fight against julio diaz would of been better.

Yeah, probably his handlers figure Judah will look spectacular when he KOs this guy with a lightning bolt left hand very early in the fight. Judah has a way of looking spectacular against over matched opponents who can't deal with the speed and power he brings to the table early in a fight.

I wouldn't pay to see this though.

There are a lot of fringe contenders he could fight at 140, but I guess he would be getting close to the same salary for a much tougher fight. Like I said, he will now be in a holding pattern trying to land a big payday.

Cosign. Especially since I thought he was actually being considered. Hopefully he can fight one of the three (Soon to be two) title holders in 2011 though.
