Former flyweight champion Edgar Sosa has received medical clearance to fight in the co-feature to Erik Morales' clash with Willie Limond on September 11 at Plaza de Toros in Mexico. Two weeks ago Sosa stopped Venezuelan José "Olympic" Varela in four rounds. He injured his left thumb during the victory and there was some doubt as to whether he could appear on the show.
