wow, you haven't been watching boxing very long.
10 of the 12 rounds were close, so how can you call that a robbery regardless of who got the decision? Neither guy did anything to warrant claiming he was robbed. I had it a draw and wouldn't argue 115-113 either way. Robbery is more like one guy wins 8 or 9 rounds and loses, and that didn't happen at all. No way can you show me 8 rounds Kotelnik clearly won.Comment

Right on dude. Good story and nice pic. Alexander seems like a cool guy, and he's still my favorite out of the Jr. Welters, besides Zab.I took my wife to Orlando this weekend to celebrate her birthday at the Loews Royal Pacific hotel in Universal Studios. On our boat trip back to the hotel after going into Island of Adventure in the afternoon I happen to look a few seats across from us and there he was, Devon Alexander "The Great" with his wife and kids, trainer Kevin and a few family members.
At first I wasn't too sure cuz he was looking to the side but then I saw his trainer Kevin wearing a St Loo Cardinals hat and then I was like "holy **** that's Devon Alexander..." I panicked a little bit and yelled out at him "Yo Champ!" and did a fist, he looked back smiled, then I made a gesture with my hands as to take a picture after the boat ride ended and he nodded.
As soon as we all got off the boat I waited for him, shook his hand and apologized for disturbing his vacation, he told me no problem, it didn't bother him at all. I told him I was a huge fan and I was a bit starstruck, he was all smiles and even his wife was laughing at that comment I made. So my wife took the picture, I thanked him and told him last week was a hell of a fight, he shook my hand and as he walked away I said "Champ, we got Bradley next right?" he smiled back and gave me a thumbs up.
Awesome, awesome guy, a straight shooter and hell of a nice dude, definitely in my top 5 favorite boxers right now, here's the pic for proof.

What is your deal man? Kotelnik has nothing to do with TS meeting Alexander.
Worst robbery? That was a pretty close fight. Your hatred for American fighters is really disturbing. You make it hard to be a Klitschko fan.Comment

I said before that he seems like a swell guy.....Cunningham sems like a prick though. I see he is staying close to the money, prolly has Devon buying his lunch and lending him 20's so he can "go to the movies"....wink, wink (as Cunningham scores a rock around the corner)Comment

Good for you bro
I ran across Antonio Diaz while shopping at wal-mart one day, ran across Julio Diaz when I worked for Costco. Antonio Diaz actually lives about 3 blocks from me and I've seen him riding his bike a couple of times.....it's really weird to see world-class fighters around your neighborhood..lol
Steve Quinonez goes to my in-laws church and I've seen him there the few times I've attended.Comment

Thats pretty nice imo ! Good to see that Devon's give some respect to his fan, he really seems like a good guy, and he's a hell of a fighter.
And Steelhammer you're a ******ed, this thread has nothing to do with the last fight. Its just about a fan that is happy that he had the chance to meet one of the best fighter in the world. Even if Devon didn't deserve the win against Kotelnik, he's still a really good fighter, he deserves some respect.
But oh... I know, he's not white so you ****** racist will begin to talk ****Comment
