Dawson NEVER ducked Diaconu, as a matter of fact they were signed to fight on Showtime and they even had a press conference but Diaconu pulled out with an injury and Dawson decided to go elsewhere instead of waiting. Get your facts straight and Pascal is not underappreciated, he just won the biggest fight of his career and everyone gives him credit for that.

thats wat im sayin. theres no reason to make excuses for dawson, but it was clear dawson could have blasted this guy out the ring if he actually cared to show up. thats why im no impressed. this was a fight that embarassed the lhw division more than anything if u ask me.

I know you will disagree with me on this, but this is the way I've always seen Chadwick fight.

There was so many lulls in the action in his fights with Tarver and Johnson that it hurt my head to watch. But those guys were so shot that it was still enuff to beat them.

Pascal fought a very good tactical fight, although his lack of stamina is worrying. Dawson looked very average and was frustrating to watch because of his general timidity. Pascal is one of the few genuine world champions in the sport and he deserves respect in my opinion. I think Bute will beat him though.
