Chad Dawson is his worst enemy but skill wise, he is one of the best LHW in the world. Chad lost last night simply because he didnt do enough to win the fight. He was to tight and didnt let his hands go. He fought with no urgency until the last stretch of the fight. Had he let his hands go he was clearly the better fighter and could've stopped Pascal with ease.
Bad Chad was Sad Chad last night. But i feel this lost will make him fight and get his act together. Dont count Chad out just yet, I still say he comes back and KO's Pascal once he reviews the tape and sees how easy it is to hit him.
One more thing: Everyone is taking shots at Floyd Mayweather for saying "Bad Chad is one of the greatest or best today". Thing is Floyd cant make them fight if they dont want to, PERIOD. And what boxer or fan of the sport has called everything correct? No one is perfect. And if you guys took everything Floyd said as truth then home boy would be stripped of his titles for enhancements. Floyd stresses that being Undefeated MEANS EVERYTHING. But fans argue that UNDEFEATED MEANS NOTHING if you lose to a threat because that means more vs beating bums. Bad Chad fought Pascal and Alexander fought kotelnik, neither opponent was a cake walk. So give these fighters credit for taking the fight when they clearly could've ducked out & fought a fighter like a no name Clottey...etc
Sure Kotelnik is a bigger name than Clottey.
Pascal was only known as a guy who get beat by Froch.
Dawson got caught with a clean punch but he was never hurt. Pascal was ready to go to sleep in the 10th round. Did you see that uppercut that connected on pascal's chin? He was out on his feet and couldnt move for like 2 sec..Pascal gets ko in the rematch..
He was more tired than "KO on his feet"...
We don't know what would have happen,fighters being hurt always happen in fights,doesn't mean the guy is going to sleep.
Pascal landed a left hook while Dawson heabutted himself on Pascal's head....
The guy lost fair and square.
